hey, Hopefully someone can help.. there was a virus on my system32.exe file and i deleted the whole file, do i download a new one or dont i need it?? if i dont need it how do i get rid of the error message at startup??? ANY HELP WILL BE AWESOME...THANX (please forward to my email.thanx)
Boot from the XP CD (if it is a proper copy and not a restore manufacturer's version)or the diskette set: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q310994 and use the repair/upgrade functions, if used correctly no loss of data will occur!!!!

Type in search line on top of this page system32.exe, choose XP and click Go Search and you will have all the answers on this subject. It is been discusses many many many times in this forum.
