Hey, I need Help, like everyone else. Okay I was running my Virus scanner and ait found a virus on my sytem 32 so I deleted it, I thought I was deleting the virus, when I actually deleted my System32. I Cant do System Restore. So what do I do? Because everytime my computer starts up, it takes forever and I always get the error message that it cannot be found

Depending on what antivirus you are using go to their site and find info on the virus detected....I believe the virus scanner said it was system32.exe right? there is no system32.exe (not valid) there is still entries in the registry that make windows look for it. Once you find out from the av site which reg. entry to delete then that error will quit. There is a valid system32 folder but it is not an .exe Symantec's security response site is pretty good for info on manual virus cleanup Good luck
