System32 opens at startup

The system32 folder opens at startup. I found a suggetion to change a register entry to ...\userinit.exe, but it was already set that way. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I also just found this. I know you stated you tried this but did if yours looked like the first line did you change it to what the 2nd line states it should be?
Using Regedit, change the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWSNT\CURRENT VERSION\WINLOGON Change USERINIT from C:\windows\system32\userinit.exe,c:\windows\system32\userinit.exe
