Hi, I am running Windows XP Home and whenever I log on as a user I get the System32 folder opening up. I have looked on the net and found a possible solution but I have done what they said and it is not exactly the same as in the fix. It says to check in the registry under HKLM/software/microsoft/windows/current version/run for a line with a missing " . The first entry however is Default Type is REG_EXPAND_SZ and data is c:\WINDOWS\System32. I checked on another computer and there is no such entry. Is it safe to delete this entry without causing any problems to windows?

Thanks Krystyna, I ran MSCONFIG and there was an entry in there which I unticked and know it does not start. Do I also need to delete the registry entry as well?
