System32 error and raid hard drives not found

Specs: Windows XP
How do I fix a system32 error when I have SATA Raid hard drives and windows can not detect them when I attempt to do recovery console? I have this error message saying windows could not start because of the "Windows/System32/Config/System file missing or corrupt" error. I put in the XP disk and attempted to do recovery console but windows does not detect my hard drives because they are RAID. Does anyone know what I can do? I really just want to get my files off.

If you mean you can't do a repair install because your hard drives are in RAID, you should be able to press a function button (on of the F* buttons on the top of your keyboard) while the install disk is starting to load a special RAID driver. If you don't see your drive on there, you'll have to make a special floppy or CD with the drivers on it, and install them before the install disk tries to find the drives.
