What is "system32\cmd32.exe"? It seems to be missing from my Father's computer after a virus problem. How do we get this file back in place?

the cmd32.exe file is not a windows file. it is a virus. the W32.Kwbot.C.Worm copies itself into the system directory as either cmd32.exe or system32.exe and sets itself to start at system startup.
