Computer will start and run for 1 1/2 minutes before it shutsdown automatically. I don't know if this is the cpu fan which does start up or possibly the power supply. I have taken it apart to make sure all connectors are tight on motherboard..Any suggestion would be helpful.
Thanks in Advance for your help...

Are there any error messages at all? A flash of a blue screen perhaps ;-)

Sounds like it could either be a blue screen error or a hardware overheating problem.

I assure you XP does have the blue screen of death, but never mind thats obviously not your problem. Well my advice would be to investigate options with hardware overheating, modern graphics cards can tend to overheat without proper case cooling and the system will often reboot. Try taking the side off the pc and see if the same thing happens.

Go to my computer and right click it left click on properties then click on the advance tab at the top go to startup and recovery thats the last one down I think click on settings uncheck the box that says automatically restart that way if it is restarting because of and error it will send you and error message so you can trace the problem down
