I can't find the above folder. When I went to search files/folders I got a drop down menu for System Volume Information, but when I searched for it I got no files found. Can someone please tell me where it is located? BTW, I've disabled System Restore. Could this be the reason? Thanks.

Found the answer on this forum. I originally searched inadvertantly on wrong OS. Thanks anyway.

I will never understand why people disable system restore. It is one of the greatest tools there is. We all have huge hard drives so space is not limited. It is not perfect, but if you are waiting on something that is, you'll be waiting a long time. System restore has saved my butt several times.

I just installed XP recently, and I've got nothing on this computer that I can't afford to lose. I like to try an OS with/without different features for a while just to see the differences. Right now I'm trying some of the tweaks from TweakXP.com. With System Restore, I believe I've seen more negative items posted in forums than I've seen positive. Of course, when things are working well, I guess there's no reason to post.

Here's another positive one then!
I would not be without System Restore
You don't have to leave its Allocated Space on the Default Setting though
