DO/did you have system restore turned on ?
These folders/files are only created by system restore.
Right click My Computer > Properties > System Restore tab . Is it turned on ?

Hi,

I was asking if you actually have system restore turned on and that is where to check and see.
I think maybe you are getting ahead of yourself with this. Your original problem was with popups. Someone told you to d/l and use PestPatrol and that messed up your system. Now you are trying to find the SVI files???That link that you supplied for TweakXP.com was regarding problems some people were having when they tried to use system restore and they would get an error that they couldn't restore. The fellow (adg) that replied to you on the other site where you posted, is the author of that info.
Please try and see if PestPatrol has a recovery option first and keep (adg-Allan) updated at the other site.
Regards.
