Comment:

when i start my computer the icons in the system tray don't always display. it seems to depend on how the computer is feeling: whether or not it wants to display all of the icons.

Right click an open spot on the taskbar and choose properties. Go to the bottom and uncheck the "Hide Inactive Icons" check box.

I have the same problem! Sometims the icons appear, other times not although the programmes are running. The "hide inactive icons" box is unchecked! If you manage to solve this problem, please let me know! Thanks

I have solved this problem by downloading and installing a program called "Start Delay".
Determine what icons are not loading! Run the program "Start Delay" and find the program that corresponds to the missing icon. Delay the start of these programs. Save your settings and activate "Start Delay". Restart your computer. All icons should now be showing. If not experiment with the time delay of these programs until it works each time. I took me about 10 minutes! The program can be downloaded for free from the following address:-
