Subject: System Tray Icons for Win XP
Comment:

Hi,
I have a problem with system tray icons.
After installing win xp and application. I can see the Icons in system tray. However, after reboot I can't see all the Icons? I can see the McAfee. Can not see the volume Icon or other programs installed?
I have already checked the setting for those applications are set to popup on system tray after logon.

Thanks in advance...

Try the blue button with the < on it. XP hides icons for programs not in use.

Right-click on blank section of the 'blue' task-bar (the blue that's to the left of the icons you're asking about) and select 'properties'. Uncheck 'Hide Inactive Icons'.

Universal Plug 'n' Play.

It's in "Administrative tools > Services" near the bottom.
