My system has been too much slow for two or three days, neither any virus or threat hits it plus i also checked system errorsn scan for bad sectors, everything is alright but speed has become too much slow whenever any window minimized or maximized , it takes min to open??????????
a few things cause your computer to run slow.
Number 1 is that it is infected by spyware/malware/trojens/virus
Number 2 is that the memory resource is used up and your computer needs more memory
Number 3 is that you have fragmented files and your hard drive needs to be cleaned (removal of all temp files) and then defragmented to put the files back in order for easy retrieval.
Number 4 is that your registry is corrupted with old lines and pathes and needs to be cleaned.
After performing all the above and your system is still way slow....then it is a strong possibility that you have a hardware issue as your harddrive may be going bad or something has started conflicting with something else.

I would say that you are out of memory as you have only reported 256mbs

As per Lurks comment. Use this then defrag the drive.
