"Windows has finished installing new devices. The software that supports your device requires that you restart your pc. You must restart your pc before the new settings take effect." Happens after each reboot/login.
I know what caused it (but I can't fix it). I do know a workaround which makes it go away but not fixed. I imaged the PC from our domain network with a video card installed. If I take the card out, the error appears. Put back in, it goes away. Yes, for my workaround I put the card back in, but would like a fix. So far, I disabled the video drivers in Device Manager. Booted into Safe Mode, tried to uninstall video driver from DM, then reinstall. Uninstalled all video drivers from Add/Remove. Disabled plug and play monitors in DM. I keep booting into Safe Mode but error still shows. My only answer is to reimage. Deleted Temp files.

"Windows has finished installing new devices"

Are you sure it's not the onboard video that keeps getting redetected?
