Windows XP
Am trying to restore my system to any earlier date then shows on the calander.
Is there an easy way to restore the system to aprox. 7 to 10 days.
DELL COMPUTER

Why do you not have any older restore points?
Your available restore points are limited by the available size of your restore folder. Older points are deleted to make room for new ones. If you have no point older than 7 days then you must be doing a lot of program installing/uninstalling, or have an extremely limited size for your restore folder.
My own oldest point is three months back ( not that I would ever try to use one that far back)Goin' Fishin' (Some day)

Did you notice the arrows which will allow you to click to the previous month?
Once I thought I was wrong, now I'm not so sure!

... dandy you might be able to go back to factory shipment:

^^^ look @ ^^^ Response Number 4 ^^^
"Try to use Ctrl+F11 key when booting up. So start up the computer, then when you see the "Dell" logo, press and hold CTRL and then press F11. The Dell-specific Ctrl+F11 process is supposed to completely automate the restoration process, returning the hard disk to the state it was in when Dell shipped the computer"
... ok ya
Grrrr
wat do I know?
... got brain freeze

Might be better to describe what problems you are having. Maybe someone cn help you with something short of response #4, which, if used, will wipe out everything you have other than what came with the Computer.
You will loose all Windows updates, installed Software, Documents etc.etc.
There is nothing to learn from someone who already agrees with you.
