Hi I have a quick question for a smart person. I recently installed sp2 from a cd i got with the pc format.Little did i know that u need to be online when doing so, after i rebooted it jus kept on rebooting, so i couldn't get into Xp. with much frustration i then proceeded to run a system recovery cd that i got with my pc, which has now made all of my apps invalid and all settings have been reset. My question is!! Can i restore Xp back to its original state before sp2?? If anyone could help i would gladly reward them!! Sys Spec 2.8 pent 4 512 mb ram 120 gb Hdrive Xp home no internet!!!

"i then proceeded to run a system recovery cd that i got with my pc" If you did what you say then you have restored your PC to "as new" and have wiped away everything that you have added to the PC since you bought it - including the faulty SP2 installation and possibly all of your data. No way back now, just reinstall those apps...
