System restore window blank etc

I have recenty been having problems accessing javascript enabled websites (no popups etc) I have checked the security setting and that scripting is turned on in my browser (IE6) but still no luck. I decided to attempt a system restore only to find the restore window is a blank white window with only the window heading present. HELP!

Just a note: Using System Restore too many times can cause more harm than good. After doing a restore that does not fix a problem, then UNDO the Restoration, and try another restore point. Maybe the following helps: -------------------- Troubleshooting System Restore in Windows XP
