Thank you for replying. I'm sorry I didn't put ithe statement in question form. I used System Restore because I downloaded an upgrade to a sewing program and it didn't go in properly. When the computer stalled without finishing System Restore, I was afraid that I would lose data if I just switched the computer off. Well I didn't lose data. Someone told me to restart the computer which I did and the computer said to undo my last restore. That worked, so everthing is back to the way it was before using System Restore. I will delete my sewing program and reinstall it. Thanks again for answering.
