I recently installed Windows XP Pro over my computer's original XP Home. Aside from the install problems, Pro has been nothing but a pest since I installed it. I wanted to use a system restore point to bring back XP home, but whenever I try to use System Restore I get the error message: rstrui.exe - Entry Point Not Found "The procedure entry point RemoteAssistancePrepareSystemRestore could not be located in the dynamic link library WINSTA.dll." I read on another thread that the SP1 would take care of this, but once I tried to install it I got the error message that claimed that I was using an invalid key (I'm using a bulk liscence from my college to install) and couldnt install SP1. All I want to do is bring back XP Home via system restore. When I try to go onto My Computer->Properties to disable/enable system restore, I get this message: rundll32.exe - Entry Point Not Found " The procedure entry point RemoteAssistancePrepareSystemRestore could not be located in the dynamic link library WINSTA.dll." Can anyone tell me how to activate System Restore long enough to bring it back a few days to when just Home was installed? I would really appreciate it.

I may be wrong, but I don't think you can System Restore from XP Pro back to XP Home. If you had the option to save XP Home when you installed XP Pro, you `might' have an option to return to XP Home available when you use the F8 key during the boot up.
