I have recenty been having problems accessing javascript enabled websites (no popups etc) I have checked the security setting and that scripting is turned on in my browser (IE6) I even re-downloaded java but still no luck. The "find files or folders" search option does not work... neither does the find in IE (ctrl+f). I decided to attempt a system restore only to find the restore window is a blank white window with only the window heading present. PLEASE HELP!

I cant do that either. For some reason my keyboard only becomes active once the "Windows XP loading" screen comes up.

Have You run a updated virus scan of the complete system. After you have go to system restore to see if it is turned on. You many have to click "System restore settings" to see if it is turned on. But it does sound like a virus.

Turn on your System Restore, and create a restore point. I was having similar problems. Finally gave up and installed a Netscape browser, Hate to say it but I think I like Netscape better than IE6. www.netscape.com
