Comment:

Is it possible to change where Windows stores my restore point files? The reason why is I have created seperate partitions on my drive:

D: has my Operating System
E: has all of my installed programs

D: becomes full because of temporary files. I have successfully moved my Temp Internet files to E:, as well as my Windows Temp folder. Moving the system restore files to the larger partition will allow me to create more restore points.

Thanks,
Andrew

Right-click My Computer/Properties/System Restore tab/Settings button.

From here u can minimise the amount of space to be used on ur D drive and increase the space on E drive.

No way to re-locate the system volume directory (restore) as far as I know !!

Hope this helps
