This question is for my XPpro pc.
I wanted to do a system restore earlier today and for some unknown reason it would not revert back to a restore point from yesterday. I then made my own restore point and did a restart of the computer; then tried to revert back to the restore point I just made and it still did not work. Any ideas how to get system restore working again?
If any additional information is needed please ask. Thank You

System restore should work in Windows normal mode. I would suspect some type of malware has infected your computer. Do a complete scan.
That should be done while in safe mode.

Using System Restore too many times can cause more harm than good. After doing a restore that does not fix a problem, then UNDO the Restoration, and try another restore point, or just do the UNDO.
