Hello, After my computers has recovered from Sinowal (Clickable), My System Restore isn't working.

It says "System Restore is not able to create a Restore Point. Please restart the computer, and then run System Restore again.". I restarted, enabled, disabled, restarted, change the space it takes, ETC.

I even ran
Disable/Enable system restore, still.... same problem.

As well, I ran CCleaner cleaner and registry repair there.

I ran registry optimization (NTREGOPT).

Still, it doesn't work.

Do you mind helping me? I just can't create system restore point =(

Get Erunt and leave System Restore disabled. You'll save Disk Space and have full Registry Backups.

Erunt creates Backups of all XP Registry Hives. System Restore does not.

More here on Malware and Reunt/NTREGOPT

There is nothing to learn from someone who already agrees with you.

Nasty stuff often permanently messes up system settings. Have you googled for system restore disabled/not working etc? Often others have had same problem.

If no explicit fix appears, I'd suggest a repair reinstall - http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...

- though this is getting more 'difficult' with later services packs, ie7 etc. Ideally you want and install CD at the same level of service pack and internet explorer as your installation. You can create one if your install disk is older (eg see www.nliteos.com). It does put lots of system settings back to their defaults (though leaves data, apps and your settings intact).

Dumbob: I may use this tool, BUT I want to know 100% that I can rely on something... and it will be the system restore of windows...

Steve Dunn: I googled, tried, here, there, everywhere, and sadly nothing worked.

I don't want to do anything big (reinstall something big), isn't there any "magic solution"?
