After being on for just a few hours my computer restarts all by itself. I have not downloaded anything yet so I do not think that it can be a virus. I was also wondering how to check the temperature of the computer. Please help.

Try this program. It should monitor the cpu also.

Change this setting to see the error, then you can diagnose:

Control Panel, System, Advanced Tab. Then under Startup and Recovery, click on Settings.

Under System Failure, uncheck the box Autormatically Restart.

Hope this helps!
