My system is running really slow. I also tried removing unwanted temp files from my profile and my HDD space came upto 1GB and also defragmented my HDD, but no difference.
Is there anything else i can try.........

Check which processes are using the most resources(ctrl+alt+del or ctrl+left-shift+esc)then click processes and view the amount running and which take the most. I generally have about 29 to 31 running as I have pretty much everything disabled, as I dn't need them at the moment.
You could then disable startup items you don't need. Go to the programs and see if they have a run on startup option in ther configuration. If not then go to Start>Run> and type msconfig. Go to the the startup tab and uncheck un-needed items, restart and see if that helps.
Notice however that some items even tho disabled will come back on and some things may not work if you disable something needed by your anti-virus/spyware-adware/firewall software. There is a link to a site with what items you can disable but I have lost that for now, so if some on could post it, it'd help me a lot :P HTH.

Try the following, it might help. Download ccleaner but before running it, uncheck
anything that you do not want to delete.
Then run regseeker to clean your registry. Finally defragment your disk. You might
find that your system then runs well.
