I was just looking around at the setting for my computer trying to find out how to get to my ATi control panel ans when I was looking at my system properties it says I have an AMD 1500 running at 1.35GHz but Im really running a AMD 2200. Does anyone know why it says that? I also found it strange when I ran 3dmark 2001se I only got a score around 2500 when 3 months ago with the same exact setup i was getting +6000. Thanks Jon
yes my processor is an 2200...It was running fine for the last 6 months or so and then i ran the benchmark to check my performance and it was really low so i was looking around at my settings and found that it says i have a 1500.

Sometimes when XP runs into a problem the bios will drop your processor speed to the lower value. Look at your processor speed in bios and be sure it is set to the proper value there. That usually fixes your problem.
