system is restarting

Specs: Windows XP
my system is restarting while trying to enter into it.
the system is booting till mup.sys. i can't enter into safe mode or any other option. i couldn;t enter into bios by pressing f2. . help me.

this system is not mine.it is one of my friends system.he doesn't know whether the anyone entered or not into bios before .

... that is offering you the boot menu asking you which to boot to!

... is it not on the machine?...maybe on the back...anything...serial..

... try tapping the "Del" key @ boot-up ...(DELete key)

... do you have XP cd ?
