Ok, here is my problem, whenever i go to system tools, system information, u can hear it load in the computer, but nothing comes up, i then try to go to start run and type in msinfo32.exe, still nothing comes up. Would this be because of using registry cleaners? Anyone have any helpful info on how to fix this pls? i have heard that removing microsoft office would create problems with this tool, i have uninstalled all of the ms word, excell ets programs.
gateway tech support couldnt even figure what was wrong>>>>>maybe u can )
thanks in advance

I had the same problem on a neighbor's computer I was working on for them. The file (msinfo32.exe) was in fact installed on the machine, and located where it should have been...
\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\MSInfo
Yet no matter what I tried, it would not load. I tried accessing it through the Run menu, dxdiag, manually loading it from the directory, etc. I could not figre out why it wouldn't load.
Ultimately, I never cared enough to investigate the matter. I am interested in knowing what causes this if anyone wants to shed some light. Perhaps a dependency issue with another file that prevents it from being loaded; maybe cpu/ram issues. I don't know.
