Now that i changed the subject maybe this want get removed. Ok im the idiot that posted Maybe i have the feamle version of XP. Sorry to offend anyone.It was just a joke. Please don't ban me from this fourm and please don't remove this message.I restored 98 for now until i know why my computer hangs on startup.ok here is the deal. I installed Windows XP Pro.I also installed Norton Firewall.Got it updated.Installed ICQ. I did msconfig to uncheck ICQ from starting when windows starts.I start it manually.When i did that it would hang when rebooted or when i would just turn it on.It would get to desktop and if i put mouse over taskbar i would see a hourglass for about three mins.Also the clock would stop and then go back to normal time after three mins.This started after i did the msconfig with ICQ.If i did msconfig and checked all it would still do it.So i don't think its a issue with ICQ or with my PC being a Celeron 433 Mhz.It worked fine before when i had XP.I also did a scan at housecall.I decided to put 98 back in for now until someone could halp with this issue.
