hello!
I have just added some new ram into my computer which it has now accepted after a lot of fiddling- when I restarted windows it told me that it had just recovered from a serious system error and did it want me to send an error report (it didnt tell me what the error was) I said no to the error report, and went to take a look in the event viewer log for system errors- the same errors in here have been coming up for ages even before I started fidding! these are " the following boot-start or system - start driver(s) failed to load: lkbdhlpr" can anyone tell me what this is? The other error is "AMLI: ACPI BIOs is attempting to read from an illegal IO port address (0x71), which lies in the 0x70 - 0x71 protected address range. This could lead to system instability. Please contact system vendor for technical assistance" whats this mean? neither of these errors have actually shown in windows, they are only in the log! would either of these be causing this "recovering from serious system error" thing?
If anyone has got any advice it would be great!Becky

There should be an event ID associated with these errors. I would remcommend that you go to http://www.eventid.net/ and search for your ID number for these error messages.
