Yesterday I was checking a date a month ahead and somehow I changed my system date. When I went to change it back I got this error:
Your system clock appears to have been set back, possibly in an attempt to defeat the security system on this program. Please correct the system clock before trying to run this program again. If your clock is correct, please contact the author of this program for instructions on correcting this error (report code CCB-F)
Now about every two minutes I get a pop up with this message interrupting everything. How do I get it to stop? Thank you.

>> Please correct the system clock before trying to run this program again. <<
There's your answer. You have an application installed that is due to expire at a particular date. Setting the clock forward has made the application believe that the expiry data has arrived and by putting the date back you appear to be trying to defeat the system.
The only other thing you can do besides contacting the author as the message suggests is to un-install the application that is causing the problem.
Trying to hack the time limiting functions will be a time comsuming task and may not be worth the effort.

If the software you were playing with is from JavacoolSoftware, the following may apply to you:
Error message: "System clock set back" code CCCB-F

Hi Stuart,
I think you're right.
An uninstall may leave some tracks that are very hard to find.

If at first you don't succeed, you're about average.

Since there are thousands of programs out there, it may help to know which one you are having trouble with.
Ya think? :-)
Rule #1: Good Computers don't go down.
Rule #2: There is no such thing as a good computer.
