Any reccomendations on what I should set my cache at? windows recommends 2287 Kbs, but that doesnt seem to work too great.

Are you talking about the page file? I usually recommend setting it to "system managed" and let Windows handle it.
What doesn't work too great when you set the page file to 2287 Kbs? Also, can you spell out the word you're abbreviating there? Kbs is usually read "Kilobits per second" and that doesn't mean anything in this context.
