Do you mean the XP Pre-installation Kit?? It's for OEM system builders. I don't believe you can download it for free from Microsoft.

You're welcome James. If that is in fact what you're talking about...you can purchase a CD with Pre-install Kit on it. They're not terribly expensive. But for a normal home user, it's useless. It's basically for OEM system builders who need to configure the computer/OS before shipping it out.

It can be found at this site: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&familyid=7a83123d-507b-4095-9d9d-0a195f7b5f69 read the instructions for downloading and use of teh sysprep.exe contained within the Cab file.
