Why does IE encounter sysfader crashes and errors etc.? can't find anything on computing.net about this problem. I found out that sysfader is part of the IE window. but what causes this sysfader problem? It doesn't happen often, but maybe once in 3 months I get this error, then I have to reboot to use IE, cause before rebooting IE just closes itself with a sysfader error.

php: at three different sources found three completely different "fixes" for Sysfader errors:

1. caused by Win32.Parite virus.
do an online scan using:

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

2. install IE6 SP1.

3. switch off transitions in IE,
goto IE Tools, Internet Options, Advanced Tab, uncheck 'Enable Page Transitions' under the 'Browsing' section.

let us know what worked for you...
