ok, i've seem to have a lot of problems, but right not the worst is that after i updated xp stuff stopped working-start button menu, can not get in control panel, so no user accounts-or my computer-i can not get into my files-folders to see whats there or to delete anything or see whats been put there. my d#%$m trash can will not even open, i can only get in by safe mode, but thats limited so much. restore was turned off???? so thats no good-no I didn't turn it off. i've ran virus scans over and over (on line scans also- they show nothing)
changed my firewall after programs started showing up that i didn't put there- with internet access??? z.a. to sygate. sys
is getting slower and freezing. tried a dirty install of xp- no good. i ran hijack
this is what i got, thanks for any help

Get all your important files that you can and FORMAT! Could do 'control userpasswords2' from the run menu to see if you can make another account and get things back that way.
