Ok, i have 1 hard drive which is partitioned into 2. I have all my files on the C. I decided the other day as a precaution to copy all my important files on to my D drive (second partition). Question is...can i get the copy on D drive to synchronise with the one on C so i dont have to keep on copy and pasting files directly?

First, if these are indead "important files". I'd get them backed up to removable media. You are still, using the same hard drive. If it fails, so goes your back ups, understand.
Just an opinion. Take it or leave it, your choice.
CrazyOne p.s. I understand what you're doing. but also, please understand what I said.
