I keep getting a box pop up on my screen that says sychost.exe-application error every couple minutes. Please help me remove it.

Hi Arlene,
Has this started happening recently/suddenly? Do you have Automatic Updates switched on? Had you recently run Windows Update before the problem began? Lastly, have you run your fully up-to-date anti-malware apps?

If it does say > screen that says sychost.exe-application you are probably infected.
svchost is the correct spelling.
Note: The svchost.exe file is located in the c:\windows\System32 folder. In other cases, svchost.exe is a virus, spyware, trojan or worm!
