Swapped Hard Drives

Well, i switched my hard drives from one computer then i just realised i couldnt but i already deleted all the files that were existing on the hard drive that was in there i was transferring my files from a hard drive to the hard drive on the comp but i was transferring the whole operating system tried using the IDE cables from the old comp but didnt work. any suggestions?

Skip the whole story and tell us what you are trying to do now and what is going wrong. Are you getting an error message or what?
