Specs: win mce2005, amd 1.8ghz 512mb
This laptop im using as a portable media center which is great for partys and such, however im having trouble with these new cables i just updated to.

i bought a audio jack to rca which works great, but the svideo to rca cable works, well not so well. occasionally some colour flashes on the screen, and its scrolling when it does. mostly the screen stays blank, however like i said a picture occasionally scrolls, but the colours are not right (everything is darker).

Also the video card is an integrated ati 200m 256mb.

Im using the newest catalyst control center with the newest omega drivers.

also, i just realized how the colours look, looks like the image is in like 8bit color, like windows 3.1 (no one prob remembers that though :(

Might have to re-read the video adapter and/or cable gizmo for more clues. Might be some kind of second video out adjustment. As you say it looks like basic video. See also control panel for video settings for second screen.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
