host holds your 3rd party services using it to connect to internet, you need to find the 3rd party program and remove it

I have the same problem on my laptop with XP. About twice a day the CPU utilization reaches 100% for about 5 to 10 minutes. I can not move my mouse or do anything during that time. I will try locating the 3rd party service that might be affecting it. But if there are any other thoughts out there, please let me know.
