What do you mean by check ???
I have 5 of them in my XP Home. That's normal.

To find out what each Startup(or Process) item
does or means, and any recommendation as to if you should close the process:
Task List Programs

If you have XP Pro, open command prompt and type in tasklist /? for instructions and available parameters.

If you have XP Home, download TASKLIST HERE
