svchost + CPU

CPU/Ram: AMD duron proceser

Since two days, When I open my computer, it is very slow. I look at the task manager and I see that svchost.exe use 70% of CPU.
if anybody has a solution pls email me

i think this is down to a popular worm, although the worm files isnt svchost.exe

try a virus scan

Also try the usual malware and spyware scans, with Spybot and Adaware; in case you haven't done that yet.
