Hi
I'm having some problems installing my surround sound system on my new PC. It worked fine on my old one.
I have everything plugged in correctly and set the 'Speak Set Up' to '5.1 Surround Sound Speakers', as it was before. However, it will still only play the sound plugged into the green socket (audio out).
Tried a lot of things, no luck. Any suggestions? I thought maybe it was a problem with my sound card, but as a brand new Dell PC I'd be surprised if it didn't allow for surround sound.

If this is a brand new Dell and you're using the onboard sound instead of an add on card, the onboard sound may not support surround sound. Go to the Dell site and check the specs on your audio output. Good Luck.............
