Right click My Computer,
Properties,
Advanced tab,
Settings button (Starup and Recovery),
uncheck Automatically Restart.

Now you should get an error message when it happens again.

May be able to do the above in Windows
Safe-Mode. No programs or drivers running
there. Hold down F8 during boot.

Dear Sir,

My Toshiba Satellite laptop has been shutting down without worning. It ones said that a file has been damaged and mentioned the following name:

Is there any way to fix this damaged file?
Thanks a lot.

Dear Joey,
Thanks for the quick response, but I only have two CD-ROMs that came with my Toshiba laptop:
1- Product Recovery DVD-ROM
2- Tools & Utilities CD-ROM
I don't think I have anything else. There is no "repair" function in neither of the two CDs!
Anything else I can do? Should I take it to Toshiba dealer in town?
Thanks,
George
