I know this is a newbie question but How do i change the Size of Desktop icons and the taskbar ONLY. I cant remember.
The Desktop icons worked but i couldnt find anything to make the taskbar bigger in the customize it only had use small icons in the start menu i want to make the taskbar bigger though also the icons on the task bar for like the quick launch and icon tray are small.

the taskbar can b locked in win xp if u want to make it a bit bigger u will have to unlock taskbar first. do this by right clicking on the taskbar and selecting unlock (or lock if it is unlockd) or u can right click properties and its the box at the top. hope thats ok

Hi Re the task bar Rt. click on taskbar,untick lock the taskbar,then you can drag to whatever size you want.
thats a lil bit more what i want but i dont want to make it to where it can hold 2 icons one on top of the other just bit bigger then it is now main i wan to be able to reast the downsized title bars better and i want to make the icons on the quick launch tool bar bigger and the ones in the system tray but makeing the task bigger in the way said in above post didnt do it.

You could try reducing your Screen Resolution.
Right click your Desktop, click Properties, then Settings tab, you then see where to change it.
