Stupid Mouse Trouble

okay for some crazy reason my mouse pointer. alternates between the normal cursors and the arrow with a cd rom by it continously like twice every second. i have no idea why and any help would be appreciated cause its really annoying

Do you have a CD in your CD player??? Sounds like it's trying to play it. He who sh_ts on the path, Will meet flies on the way back..
