Heya folks,
I have a 500Gb Drive that is Fat32, and I'm trying to convert to NTFS using the Command Prompt. First attempt requested a Chkdsk to fix the problem, that worked fine and cleared up any errors. But I just run the Convert command again on the disk, and it failed half way through.
Fortunately the Drive is still accessible, so my data's not lost, but after following the Errors (It says a folder is Damaged or Insufficient disk space), it leads through a set of directories to a Folder which has absolutely no name.
I'm not kidding, the folder has no name, and if you try clicking on it, you are constantly in it's parent folder (where you view this No Named folder)... and then you can back up to "parent directories" according to the number of times you enter it, it's freaking bizarre. Some freakish Explorer/Directory navigation loophole or something.
Normal Delete on the folder results in no error, instead just makes the Explorer/Folder Window disappear. I have another Utility called Eraser which can't get rid of it either. I was gonna try in the Command Prompt using the "RD" command, but I don't know the /Force attribute command, neither would I know how to select this No Named folder anyway!
TLDR; I have a folder without ANY name preventing my from Converting a FAT32 to an NTFS, any ideas on how to forcefuly remove it? Deleting it's parent folder results in the same problem that the Window disappears.
Thanks for your help in advance!
Btw, if it's any help, I think this is because of a possible violation of the FAT32's file/folder restrictions, but I could be wrong. Reason I say this, is because I have a Backup of my Brothers Web Work and stuff, and the amount of Directories it goes down into, and file name lengths used in some places is *ridiculous*.
I've never been able to move his files before, either via CTRL-C method, or using Cobian Backup (Somehow they always Faulter in there process), thus if I have to, I don't mind deleting his backups with some "Mega-Poweful Deletion tool" and wipe clean that entire Directory containing his backups.

I'm not sure if I should be grinning that my Problem pwned those two Applications, neither removed it XD
Unlocker realised there was no handles attached to it, and offered to delete it as an option - I got the Deleting Process Window come up, but didn't succeed. The other Utility also failed to do anything, just finished rebooting my machine and it failed.
I'll wait a while for any more suggestions of course, but I recently brought a 250Gb External Drive for my dad - if no other solutions fix it, I'll back up the 80Gb of data on the drive to it (leaving behind the Backups of course), just format the sucker clean and create a fresh NTFS partition.

Below is an excerpt from a MSKB article. The article is also linked below that.
FAT32 has some restrictions.
Maximum number of files on disk: 268,435,437
Maximum number of files in a single folder: 65,534The root directory is considered a folder for these purposes.
“Convert.exe requires that you have some free space on the drive or on the partition to convert it. If Convert.exe determines that there is not sufficient free space on the volume, it does not convert the volume”.
