Streaming video sound & picture out of sync. I have an ageing (like me !) laptop. It is a Packard Bell 6204 with 1gig of ram but recently when I try to watch streamed TV programmes the sound and picture are not synchronised, the sound ahead of the picture, by up to a couple of seconds. Any ideas as to what might have gone wrong ? Thank you in anticipation of any help offered.
Thanks Gretti. I have updated my video & audio drivers to the latest versions I can find. The flash player is regularly done automatically and this has made me think. The problem seemed to get worse after the last update which was, I think, version 11. Could it be that this is beyond the capabilities of the igp 340M and is it possible to go back to an earlier release ? Regards Jon.
Thanks again for your assistance. I am going to find if I can download an older release of flash and was just on Google investigating. As I only use this machine for emails and a bit of online shopping I will persevere with it. I watch missed TV programmes only now and again and although I appreciate a more modern PC would be nice, if and when this "gives up the ghost" I will do so via my Wii. I will let you know how I go on with the flash player. Regards Jon.
