Comment:

I have a DSL connection and had Media Player7, everything worked. Unfortunately I decided to upgrade to Media Player 9, and now I can't get any streaming media to play. I went to the options in the player's tools tab and checked "connect to the internet", made sure the streaming proxy settings were set to "none", made sure all of the streaming protocols were checked and all of the file types were checked. No luck.

If anybody has any ideas, I'd be greatful to hear them.

Thanks
