Hi,
I have a strange problem, thts the mouse cursor works well, until I try to put any text in any application then the cursor becomes a big black rectangle. I tryd to change the cursor for text insertion and its works... but for some reason after a couple of reboot the problem appears again. Also when I put the option "without shadow" in the mouse options, I become the same black rectangle. I have a SIS 730 integrated video board on a PC CHIPS 810 motherboard. I will appreciate any suggestions !!!

two idea's, either your copy of windows is @#$ up... and you need to do a repair or reinstall... but I would guess that it is probaly more likely that you have some program(s) running in the background that are missing w/ stuff... try disabling them from loading on start up... and then reboot a couple of times... and try that for a few days... w/ minimal start up programs
