Ive been having this strage pop up that says "Im getting sick of staying aside here. Maybe you should report me if they don't know me yet." when my computer first gets to the desktop. Im not quite sure what it was. The other day I installed Norton Anti Virus and scanned my computer, but it said that is had no viruses. The next day I start my computer up again and the same type pop up came up but this time it said "I can uninstall you anti-virus program, but thats not the case here." Since then my computer has been getting a lot of pop ups and random downloads have been showing up. I've run ad-aware and spybot but they don't seem to be helping. This is starting to worry me and im just wondering if anybody can give me some advice. -Thanks

I still suspect a virus , run a virus check from 1 or all of these .

Users of Windows Me and Windows XP should temporarily turn off System Restore. Windows Me/XP uses this feature, which is enabled by default, to restore the files on your computer in case they become damaged. If a virus, worm, or Trojan infects a computer, System Restore may back up the virus, worm, or Trojan on the computer.Windows prevents outside programs, including antivirus programs, from modifying System Restore. Therefore, antivirus programs or tools cannot remove threats in the System Restore folder. As a result, System Restore has the potential of restoring an infected file onto your computer, even after you have cleaned the infected files from all the other locations.
Also, a virus scan may detect a threat in the System Restore folder even though you have removed the threat.
For instructions on how to turn off System Restore, read your Windows documentation, or one of the following articles:

If I was you, I would restore your computer to it's original state. (Like it was when you bought it) Back everything up and reformat your drive. Sounds like someone hacked into your computer. Are you useing a firewall?
